Royal Caribbean Group is seeking a Principal Engineer for its Global E-Commerce Team in Miami. You will shape the end-to-end architecture of our digital commerce platform, oversee technical standards, and drive AI-enabled development at scale.

This is a hands‑on, non‑managerial leadership role influencing multiple engineering teams across frontend, backend, and infrastructure. You will work with React SPAs, AEM, Node.js/Java, GraphQL, and cloud native AWS/Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience across frontend and backend
• Proven track record as a technical leader influencing multiple teams
• Expertise in modern frontend technologies: React, SPAs, micro-frontend patterns
• Deep experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and integration patterns
• Hands-on with Node.js, GraphQL, and Java services
• Cloud-native infra skills: AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines
• Strong DevSecOps and security practices in regulated environments
• Experience with AI-assisted development and GenAI tooling

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the end-to-end technical roadmap for the ecommerce platform.
• Define frontend architectural standards for SPAs, micro-frontends, and AEM integration.
• Lead the adoption of AI-assisted development and GenAI tooling across teams.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and design to deliver scalable, high-performance systems.
