Job summary

The Colorado Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) seeks a Senior Quality Manager to bridge advanced building science with organizational excellence. You will supervise a statewide team ensuring weatherization work meets performance standards, conducting inspections, reporting, and training to improve program delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of working, inspection, and/or training experience in weatherization, residential energy efficiency services, or closely related field
• Minimum two years of direct supervisory experience in the last five years
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team that is not co-located with virtual collaboration strategies and tools
• Demonstrated experience tracking compliance, reviewing staff reporting, and processing invoices
• Dedicated to continuous improvement, desire to learn new skills
• Strong written, oral, and presentation communication skills
• Proficient in Google Suite or Microsoft Office and video conferencing tools

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of three State Technical & QA staff in completing BPI Quality Assurance Inspections and Quality Control visits across Colorado
• Balance team bandwidth and optimize operational capacity
• Drive quality management by translating federal guidelines into actionable insights for the subgrantee network
• Mentor and lead a high-performing team in a collaborative, inclusive environment
• Partner with WAP teams to integrate quality outcomes with targeted training
• Develop and deliver guidance to subgrante organizations during leadership changes or performance remediation
• Champion operational excellence by modernizing workflows and scaling program reach
• Address critical safety hazards found during site evaluations and escalate when needed
• Report subgrantee performance metrics to program leadership and stakeholders
• Advise on WAP policy updates to increase equity and effectiveness
• Lead the integration and management of platforms like monday.com for project tracking
• Participate in national and regional WAP events to share best practices
