Job summary

Energy Outreach Colorado seeks a Technical Field Manager to lead single family weatherization, HVAC, electrification, and building performance programs in Denver. You will conduct quality assurance inspections, review installations, and guide contractors, agencies, utilities, and internal staff to ensure energy savings, comfort, safety, and compliance.

The role requires staying current on building science, providing trainings, and advancing technical standards across Colorado’s Single Family

Qualifications

• Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Experience with CRM software, preferably Salesforce.
• Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with CARE Agencies, Contractors, Utilities, and staff to ensure program compliance and reporting.
• Perform quality assurance inspections of weatherization measures and HVAC installations.
• Generate inspection reports detailing performance, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
• Manage submission of inspection reports to agencies and funders in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain technical specifications, standards, and field guidance for Single Family programs.
• Monitor contractor performance and promote improved installation practices and documentation.
• Verify the quality and performance of heat pumps and electrification measures through inspections and troubleshooting.
• Stay updated on building science practices, codes, and program requirements; incorporate into training materials.
