Job summary

Consor seeks a Senior Project Manager - Water/Wastewater to lead municipal projects in Tennessee, combining technical leadership with client development to grow the firm. This role focuses on growing opportunities, delivering projects, and strengthening client relationships across the region.

You will manage planning, design, and construction, lead multidisciplinary teams, and mentor staff while ensuring client satisfaction and project success from start to finish.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8+ years relevant water/wastewater engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Tennessee state, or ability to obtain reciprocity upon employment.
• BS in Engineering.
• Experience managing municipal water/wastewater projects.
• Planning and design experience with water/wastewater projects.
• Project management experience, including developing scopes of work, reviewing invoices, and managing client communications.
• Proven ability to develop and work with clients to help win and deliver municipal projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and strengthen relationships with municipal utility clients and key stakeholders.
• Identify, pursue, and help capture new project opportunities within the Tennessee water and wastewater market.
• Serve as a seller-doer, combining technical leadership with business development and client engagement.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams consisting of Consor staff and subconsultants.
• Manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, and overall client satisfaction.
• Provide strategic guidance to clients throughout planning, design, and construction.
• Lead or support Statements of Qualifications (SOQs), proposals, presentations, and interview teams.
• Develop technical memoranda, engineering reports, planning studies, and design documents.
• Collaborate with regional leadership to execute account management and growth strategies.
• Represent Consor at industry conferences, professional organizations, client meetings, and community events.
• Mentor junior staff while fostering a culture of client service and business growth.
