Job summary

Stantec in Memphis, Tennessee is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our water sector team. You will plan project execution, manage budgets and schedules, and engage with municipal clients on water and wastewater projects.

You will develop project scopes, supervise staff, coordinate with engineers, and advance business development while ensuring HSSE compliance and high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (minimum) in Civil, Water Resources, Biological Systems, or Environmental Engineering, or other closely related degree required.
• Minimum of 5 years prior experience in a similar role.
• Minimum of 2 years prior experience with large project or contract management responsibilities required.
• Professional Licensure (P.E.) preferred. Registered in Tennessee or ability to obtain reciprocity.

Responsibilities

• Plan project execution including resourcing, budgets and schedules.
• Prepare task orders, manage contracts, and interact with clients primarily in municipal water and wastewater market.
• Develop project scope, budgets, and design for various sized projects; lead marketing and business development for opportunities.
• Coordinate with engineers and technical staff to ensure project needs are met in a timely manner.
• Maintain and enhance client relationships and industry reputation.
• Mentor junior staff and supervise direct reports.
• Support HSSE policies and coordinate with HSSE professionals during project planning and implementation.
