Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Senior Project/Client Manager to lead the delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects in the Mid-Atlantic region, working in a hybrid model with site visits and client meetings as needed.

You will manage multidisciplinary teams, drive technical execution and financial performance, and foster strong client relationships while supporting business growth across Virginia Beach and surrounding markets.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering; Master’s degree a plus.
• 10+ years of experience in water/wastewater as a W/WW Engineer or Project Manager for municipal projects.
• VA PE license required or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Progressive experience in design, permitting and construction administration of water/wastewater facilities.
• Strong project management with budget and schedule control responsibilities.
• Experience in client relations and business development.
• Leadership and team-oriented with strong planning and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of complex water/wastewater projects from concept through construction.
• Manage client relationships and support business growth across the Mid-Atlantic region.
• Prepare budgets, schedules and forecasts using PM tools; monitor performance.
• Coordinate activities of engineers and consultants; lead meetings and track progress.
• Oversee design reviews, calculations, reports and cost estimates; ensure quality.
• Support proposals, secure new work, and recruit staff in collaboration with leadership.
