Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Water/Wastewater Senior Project Manager to lead planning and engineering design of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, collaborating with a wide range of technical disciplines. You will manage design teams, mentor staff, develop proposals, and foster client relationships to drive project wins while ensuring scope, budget and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• 15+ years related experience in project management
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain license within 6 months
• PMP is a plus
• Demonstrated leadership experience and strategic thinking

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of design professionals and technicians
• Mentor and supervise staff and develop high-performing project teams
• Perform business development and develop long-lasting client relationships
• Prepare proposals and scope/assessments
• Coordinate with multiple business lines to seize opportunities
• Ensure budget, scope, and schedule compliance on projects
• Lead complex engineering design tasks for water/wastewater projects
• Oversee QA/QC and regulatory coordination
• Travel to project sites and other offices as needed
