Job summary

Wauford, an Ardurra Company, is seeking an Experienced Water/Wastewater Project Engineer to join the Nashville, TN office. The role focuses on leading and delivering water and water resources projects, with opportunities to work across Tennessee and Western Kentucky.

The ideal candidate has a PE license in Tennessee and 10+ years of relevant experience, strong communication, and leadership skills to guide teams and coordinate with clients and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering.
• PE license in Tennessee or reciprocity.
• Minimum 10 years of water/wastewater experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; interface with clients and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Participates in development of project design concepts and criteria.
• Analyzes complex design problems requiring new techniques or procedures.
• Consults with construction personnel concerning design constructability.
• May lead on-site resident engineering for projects, reviewing schedules and costs, and invoicing.
• Monitors project progress for technical accuracy and adherence to schedule and budget.
• Prepares and finalizes planning documents; contributes to proposals and client meetings.
