AE2S, a 100% employee-owned engineering firm, is seeking a Water/Wastewater Senior Project Engineer in Lone Tree, CO. You will stay involved in technical problem-solving, design, and mentoring while growing leadership responsibilities and delivering high-quality wastewater infrastructure projects.

You will lead planning and design, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, support proposals, and build client relationships with regulatory agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer ideal or ability to obtain within 3 months.
• 10+ years of experience in municipal civil engineering with a strong interest in the wastewater market sector.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, evaluation, and design of municipal and industrial water and wastewater infrastructure projects
• Prepare and oversee engineering reports, technical memorandums, specifications, contract documents, cost estimates, permit applications, and construction plans
• Serve as a project engineer or technical lead, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and supporting successful project delivery
• Collaborate with project managers to support scope, schedule, budget, and resource planning while maintaining a strong technical leadership role on projects
• Build relationships with clients, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders while contributing to proposals, interviews, and business development efforts
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and technical staff, sharing knowledge and helping elevate team performance across the organization
