Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer is ideal or ability to obtain within 3 months.
• 10+ years of experience in municipal civil engineering with a strong interest in the wastewater market sector.
• Ability to travel as required for business development and project/client responsibilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to effectively manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Maintain stellar reputation for integrity, fairness, reliability, good judgment and aptitude among peers, management, and staff.
• All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search).

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, evaluation, and design of municipal and industrial water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Prepare and oversee engineering reports, technical memorandums, specifications, contract documents, cost estimates, permit applications, and construction plans.
• Serve as a project engineer or technical lead, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and supporting successful project delivery.
• Collaborate with project managers to support scope, schedule, budget, and resource planning while maintaining a strong technical leadership role on projects.
• Build relationships with clients, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders while contributing to proposals, interviews, and business development efforts.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and technical staff, sharing knowledge and helping elevate team performance across the organization.
