Job summary

AE2S is seeking a Water/Wastewater Senior Project Engineer to lead municipal and industrial water and wastewater infrastructure efforts in Lehi, UT. You will drive design, reports, permits, and construction planning while mentoring staff and building client relationships.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, project delivery, and opportunities to grow leadership responsibilities within AE2S’s ESOP-enabled, employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer ideal or ability to obtain within 3 months.
• 10+ years of experience with treatment facilities, pumping, conveyance, and utility systems.
• Ability to travel as required for business development and project/client responsibilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Strong reputation for integrity, fairness, reliability, good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, evaluation, and design of municipal and industrial water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Prepare and oversee reports, specifications, cost estimates, permits, and construction plans.
• Serve as project engineer or technical lead coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
