Energy Systems Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Water/Wastewater (W/WW) to join the Public Sector Central team in Texas. The role is hybrid with frequent travel (50–75%) and oversees complex water and wastewater construction from design through turnover.

You will coordinate project execution, manage budgets, and lead cross-functional teams including engineers, field staff, and contractors while ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and client satisfaction across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management (preferred).
• 7+ years of engineering and construction-related experience managing projects.
• Experience with municipal water/wastewater treatment facilities and infrastructure preferred.
• Experience in developing schedules and managing project budgets from development to closure.
• Ability to work with customers, subcontractors, design engineers and material suppliers professionally.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, procurement strategy, scheduling, risk management, and commissioning for W/WW projects.
• Coordinate with engineering for accurate estimates and pricing aligned with project goals.
• Maintain customer contact to coordinate work, costs, and training.
• Direct and manage construction managers and field teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Oversee project finances, change orders, cash flow, and margin, with monthly forecasts and quarterly updates.
• Ensure OSHA, safety regulations, and ESG policies are adhered to on site.
