Job summary

LVI Associates in Southern California is seeking a Senior Water/Wastewater Project Manager to lead municipal water and wastewater projects. Hybrid flexibility is available as the team delivers critical infrastructure across the region.

You will manage scopes, budgets, schedules, and performance while providing technical leadership and mentoring to engineers. Strong client-facing skills and public-sector experience are essential; PE preferred and PM certification a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience managing engineering projects from initiation through completion.
• Strong budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and quality control.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and delivery of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, and overall project performance.
• Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for public-sector clients.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and oversight to engineering staff.
• Perform quality reviews of project deliverables and ensure successful project execution.
• Support proposal development, interviews, and client relationship management efforts.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on treatment facilities, pump stations, pipelines, and water resource projects.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with municipal agencies and key stakeholders.
• Participate in industry organizations and professional networking activities.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
