Job summary

Apex Companies is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead and deliver Water/Wastewater infrastructure projects from planning through construction. You will mentor engineers, drive schedules and budgets, and expand client relationships across the western U.S.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering (or related field).
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Utah (or ability to obtain such a license).
• 10+ years of water/wastewater engineering experience.
• Project management experience including development of project proposals, scopes, budgets, and successful execution of engineering projects.
• Strong staff mentorship and performance management capabilities.
• Experience with strategic planning, client development, and operational oversight.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills, and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers on Water/Wastewater infrastructure projects—from planning and design through bidding and construction.
• Drive operational excellence by monitoring schedules, budgets, technical quality, and workload.
• Strengthen and expand client relationships and workload through value-driven engineering solutions.
• Mentor staff to build a high-performing team culture focused on quality and accountability.
• Identify new business opportunities via networking, proposals, and client presentations to grow regional business.
