Job summary

Lumos & Associates in Roseville, CA is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer, Water and Wastewater, PE, to lead design of water distribution, sewer, pump stations and treatment projects in our Roseville office. You will shape the technical direction of our Northern California water practice and mentor engineers who follow you.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of water/wastewater design experience, a CA P.E., and strong ownership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering.
• 6+ years of progressive water/wastewater design experience.
• California P.E. license (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Experience supervising and mentoring staff.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record with 3 or fewer demerit points.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, oversee, and direct the project design team during the execution of projects in responsible charge.
• Develop, implement, and maintain project schedules and budgets.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and delegating responsibility to staff.
• Provide technical review (QA/QC) of projects.
• Lead the development of engineering drawings using CAD/Civil 3D software.
• Prepare reports and calculations for review by a Project Manager.
• Serve as the engineer in responsible charge for production of final civil design drawings and deliverables.
