Job summary

Jobot in West Sacramento is seeking a Senior Civil/Environmental Engineer focused on water/wastewater treatment and water resources. You will lead design, permitting, and project delivery for municipal systems, with significant opportunity for advancement in a collaborative utility group.

The role requires PE licensure, 8+ years experience, and a strong background in water/wastewater processes; salary is competitive with bonus potential and robust benefits at our West Sacramento office.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil/Environmental Engineering required.
• PE license and 8+ years of experience required.
• Experience with water/wastewater projects and permitting.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with WaterCAD or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and permitting of facilities including groundwater, surface water, and wastewater systems.
• Assist with oversight and management of the firm’s water/wastewater engineering services.
• Manage project teams to efficiently complete the scope for clients.
• Assist with preparation of proposals for engineering services.
• Communicate effectively with clients, teams, subconsultants and regulators.
• Provide responsible charge duties, including signing and sealing documents.
