Job summary

Delta Personnel, Inc. is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer to support municipal water and wastewater projects across Louisiana and the Gulf South.

You will participate in planning, analysis, design, permitting, and construction documentation, coordinating with agencies and clients. The role involves evaluating existing treatment and distribution systems, developing rehabilitation recommendations, and providing construction support and reviews of submittals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field.
• 5–7 years of water and wastewater engineering experience.
• Experience with municipal water/wastewater infrastructure planning, analysis, or design.
• PE license preferred; ability to obtain licensure if not currently held.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Design water/wastewater treatment facilities and associated systems.
• Develop metrics and calculations for hydraulic analyses and design.
• Prepare plans, specs, reports, cost estimates, and bid/construction documents.
• Coordinate permitting with local, state, and federal agencies.
