Job summary

The Personnel Consulting Group is assisting a premier civil and environmental engineering firm in Baton Rouge to recruit a Senior Water Resources Engineer. This role focuses on municipal water infrastructure, with responsibilities spanning design, evaluation, and optimization of water and wastewater systems.

Ideal candidates will have a PE license within reach and 8+ years of relevant experience, with strong hydrological modeling and client-facing communication skills to support project delivery

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering with focus on water resources.
Professional Engineer (PE) license in one or more states or ability to obtain within a year.
Minimum 8 years of experience in water systems design and management.

Responsibilities

Develop design plans for potable water supply and distribution systems for efficiency and reliability.
Lead evaluation and optimization of wastewater collection and treatment facilities.
Conduct hydrological analyses to mitigate flood risks and improve community resilience.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
