Job summary

The Personnel Consulting Group is assisting a premier civil and environmental engineering firm in the Baton Rouge area to identify a Senior Water Resources Engineer with deep expertise in municipal water infrastructure.

As a Water Resources Engineer, you will develop and optimize designs for potable water supply, wastewater facilities, and flood risk mitigation, while coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering with a water resources focus.
• PE license in one or more states or ability to obtain within a year.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in water systems design and management.
• Proficient in hydrological modeling software and advanced computational analysis tools.
• Excellent communication skills for client presentations and collaborative teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive design plans for potable water supply and distribution systems that enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Lead evaluation and optimization of wastewater collection and treatment facilities to improve operational performance.
• Conduct hydrological analyses and apply findings to mitigate flood risks, enhancing community resilience.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget, maintaining robust client communication.

Performance Objectives
