Job summary

Wright Water Engineers, Inc. in Denver seeks a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer to support planning, evaluation, design, and construction of water and wastewater infrastructure projects. The role blends hands-on technical work with project coordination and client service.

You will lead studies and designs, develop drawings and specifications, and mentor less-experienced staff while communicating clearly with clients and public agencies. A Colorado PE license or comity path is required.

Qualifications

• BSCE from an accredited program.
• 5–10 years of consulting engineering experience in water and/or wastewater.
• Colorado Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain via comity.
• Knowledge of design standards and construction practices.
• Ability to develop construction plans, specs, and cost estimates.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support studies, evaluations, planning, and design for water treatment and distribution systems and wastewater infrastructure.
• Develop and review design drawings, plans, profiles, specs, bid documents, reports, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with project engineers and communicate project status to leadership.
• Support construction-phase services including site visits and design reviews.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to staff.
