Job summary

HDR, Inc. in Colorado is seeking an experienced Water/Wastewater Engineer to design and deliver pipelines, pump stations, treatment plants and related facilities.

You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, coordinate studies, and ensure high-quality engineering deliverables for municipal water projects. The role requires a strong technical background, PE licensure, and experience with water distribution design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Civil Engineering or equivalent field.
• Master’s degree preferred in Civil Engineering or equivalent field.

Responsibilities

• Independently create detailed designs, plans, specifications and estimates for pipelines, pump stations, treatment plants, tanks and other wastewater systems.
• Manage and coordinate multi-discipline teams from separate locations to produce high quality deliverables.
• Guide planning and execution of complex studies, simulations, and plans for wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Oversee engineering/process design, project coordination, specifications, planning, and client interaction for delivery excellence.
• Establish new quality standards and value engineering solutions.
• Conduct quality control reviews of completed designs.
• Serve as technical expert in wastewater systems area.
• Act as project manager on water/wastewater projects as needed.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field
