Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Water/Wastewater Project Engineer to join our WaterBusiness Group in Colorado Springs.

You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, design pipelines, treatment plants, pumps, and tanks, and guide complex studies from concept through final design, ensuring code compliance and client satisfaction. The role requires a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, 10+ years in municipal water and wastewater design, and a PE license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in Municipal Water and Wastewater Systems Planning and Design.
• PE or P.Eng license recognized by licensing board.
• Strong technical background in designing water distribution systems.

Responsibilities

• Independently create detailed designs for pipelines, pump stations, treatment plants, tanks and other wastewater systems.
• Manage and coordinate multi-discipline teams from separate locations to produce high quality deliverables.
• Guide planning and execution of complex studies, simulations and plans for wastewater infrastructure projects.
