Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Principal Water/Wastewater Conveyance Engineer to lead and grow a team in San Antonio, TX or Austin, TX. You will manage projects, provide technical leadership, and engage in client development across the Texas market.

The role requires 12+ years in water/wastewater, a Texas PE license (or within 6 months), and a Bachelor's in a related field; a Master’s is preferred. Local travel up to 10% may be involved.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of related industry experience in water/wastewater.
• PE License in Texas or ability to obtain TX PE within 6 months.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage a diverse portfolio of water/wastewater conveyance projects across the Texas region.
• Lead multi-disciplined engineering teams to deliver design and construction support.
• Prepare construction documents, specifications, and oversee construction administration.
• Engage in client development, positioning, and proposal/presentation efforts for Water/Wastewater Conveyance projects.
• Define project scopes, fees, risks, and staffing with area and account leaders.
• Coordinate with hydraulic modeling and facility design experts to plan treatment plants, stormwater, and pumping stations.
• Mentor junior engineers and ensure adherence to Arcadis practices, quality, and safety standards.
