Job summary

Arcadis in Houston, TX is seeking a Project Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our Resilience Water team. You will lead water and wastewater design from concept through construction and help deliver critical infrastructure across Texas.

You’ll manage scopes, budgets, and schedules while collaborating with clients and internal leaders to secure successful outcomes. Travel ~25% and mentoring responsibilities contribute to a visible, growth-oriented role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• 5 years of related industry experience in the water/wastewater field.
• PE License in Texas (or ability to obtain TX PE within 6 months).

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects from concept through construction.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and teams to ensure high-quality, on-time, and profitable delivery.
• Collaborate with clients and leaders to define project scope, develop fee estimates, and manage risk.
• Contribute to business development efforts, proposals, and client engagement strategies.
• Mentor and support junior engineers while upholding quality, safety, and technical standards.
