Job summary

LVI Associates is seeking a Superintendent to oversee heavy civil water/wastewater construction projects across the United States. The role leads all onsite activities, focusing on safety, schedule, budget, and quality to deliver complex infrastructure reliably.

Ideal candidates will have experience with self-perform crews, subcontractors, and strong client relationships, and must be willing to travel to project sites nationwide as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience leading heavy civil construction on water/wastewater projects.
• Ability to read drawings, specs and schedules.
• Proven ability to manage crews, subcontractors, and multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead all onsite safety efforts and enforce compliance with requirements.
• Manage daily field operations including self-performed work and subcontractors.
• Coordinate earthwork, concrete, carpentry, mechanical, electrical, and metals activities.
• Develop and maintain short-term schedules, crew assignments and daily work plans.
• Prepare daily reports, labor tracking reports and look-ahead schedules.
• Monitor productivity and ensure project goals are met safely and efficiently.
• Oversee material receiving, inventory, and storage management.
• Coordinate equipment use, maintenance, and procurement.
• Ensure crews have drawings, permits and work packages.
