Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to join the ACS team in North Carolina for a large water/wastewater expansion project. The role is based out of Clayton, NC, with flexible location and travel as needed.

You will oversee construction activities, inspections, and subcontractors, while maintaining safety, schedule, and budget controls. Ideal candidates have 10+ years of environmental CM experience and degrees in engineering or construction management; HAZWOPER and OSHA

Qualifications

• 10 years of environmental construction management experience.
• Seasoned customer and stakeholder management skills.
• Willing to travel.
• Degree in engineering or construction management (preferred).
• HAZWOPER 40 Hour training with annual refreshers (preferred).
• OSHA 30 Hour Safety training (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate construction activities and deliveries with client/site personnel.
• Conduct inspections and manage Arcadis subcontractors on site.
• Inspect major equipment deliveries for conformance with specs and drawings.
• Foster clear communication among subcontractors, vendors, and client.
• Monitor health and safety, conduct weekly progress meetings, and ensure safety compliance.
• Maintain project documentation, progress reports, and cost forecasts.
