The ideal candidate holds a Texas Professional Engineer license (or commits to licensure within 12 months) and has ABET-accredited civil engineering education with at least six years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Minimum six years of experience in water/wastewater design and construction management.
• Texas PE license required within 12 months of start.
• Valid Texas Driver License and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced civil engineering design for water/wastewater systems.
• Develop hydraulic models for water distribution and wastewater networks.
• Manage projects involving consultants and staff.
• Prepare engineering calculations, reports, and board agendas.
• Prepare construction documents and bid packages.
• Monitor budgets, schedules, and project risks.
• Assist with site plans and permitting processes.
