Job summary

BGE, Inc is seeking a seasoned Civil Engineer to join our Public Works team in Austin or San Antonio. You will plan, design, and oversee municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects through the full lifecycle, mentoring junior staff and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver compliant, cost-effective solutions.

Required: a Bachelor's in Civil/Environmental Engineering, 5–7 years of related experience, EIT with PE in Texas preferred, proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering required.
• 5–7 years of progressive civil engineering experience focused on municipal water/wastewater design.
• EIT certification required; Texas PE preferred or in-process.

Responsibilities

• Plan, analyze, and design municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Prepare calculations, reports, plans, specs, and cost estimates.
• Perform hydraulic modeling and system analysis with WaterGEMS/WaterCAD/InfoWater.
• Develop construction drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Mentor junior staff and support quality control.
