BGE, Inc is a nationwide civil engineering firm seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer in Texas. The role focuses on design of water, wastewater, sanitary, storm sewer, paving and detention facilities with opportunities to work on hydrologic and hydraulic models using HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, and related tools.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in civil engineering and FE/EIT credentials; strong communication and teamwork are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• FE exam passed; EIT preferred and Texas-registered engineers encouraged.
• Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Independently performs engineering assignments with clear objectives.
• Apply sound professional judgment in project work.
• Design water, wastewater, sanitary, storm sewer, paving and detention facilities.
• Collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
• Gain exposure to hydrologic/hydraulic modeling using HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, InfoWorks, XPSWMM, WaterGEMS/WaterCAD.
• Develop PSE or design packages through full life cycle of public works projects.
