Job summary

Ardurra is seeking a Civil Engineer III for our Corpus Christi, TX team to perform detailed design engineering in the water/wastewater sector. The position emphasizes independent judgment, multi-discipline coordination, and QA/QC across drawings, reports, and models.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering (ABET) with 4–6 years of related experience and preferably a Texas PE license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program or equivalent.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license in Texas strongly preferred.
• 4-6 years of related Water/Wastewater engineering experience.
• Proficiency with computer software packages and automated engineering/design tools.
• Accountability, Communication, Planning & Organization, Personal Development.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and develops work product meeting client requirements and develops specifications, drawings, instructions, models, and related documents.
• Collaborates with suppliers to design and specify equipment.
• Evaluates need for design or planning model changes and makes appropriate recommendations.
• Consults with construction personnel concerning design constructability as related to field conditions, sequencing, and scheduling of construction activities.
• May be on a construction site for resident engineering services reviewing construction compliance with engineering design, reviewing schedules and costs, and invoicing.
• Assures production of drawings, specifications, reports, models and analyses meet scope, schedule, cost, and quality requirements.
• May plan, schedule, coordinate, and oversee the work of lower-level engineers, designers, or CADD staff.
• Prepares technical reports and sections of proposals as requested.
• Assists the Project Manager with performing services during construction.
• May provide direction to and supervision for Engineers I & II or CADD and lower level design staff.
• Ensure that their work has independent QA/QC reviews completed.
