Job summary

Ardurra seeks an entry-level Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our Corpus Christi, TX office. You will work with experienced engineers and project managers on municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

This role offers hands-on exposure to planning, design, and construction phases, with mentorship and opportunities to develop your AutoCAD/Civil 3D modeling and hydraulic analysis skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering is required or strongly preferred.
• 0–1 years of engineering or related experience; internship experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, and hydraulic modeling software is preferred; EIT certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and design of water and wastewater infrastructure, including pipelines, distribution and collection systems, pump and lift stations, and treatment facilities.
• Prepare engineering drawings, reports, specifications, and other project documentation.
• Perform engineering calculations and assist with hydraulic analysis and modeling.
• Assist with preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Conduct field investigations, data collection, site visits, and construction observations.
• Support permitting and regulatory compliance efforts.
• Coordinate with engineers, designers, and other disciplines throughout project development.
• Assist with construction-phase services, including review of submittals and responses to contractor questions.
• Support project teams in delivering high-quality projects for municipal clients.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline

EIT certification (or ability to obtain within one year)
