Job summary

Ardurra in Corpus Christi, TX seeks an entry‑level Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our municipal team. You will collaborate with experienced engineers on planning, design, and construction phases of water and wastewater projects, including pipelines and treatment facilities.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil or Environmental Engineering degree with up to 1 year of experience and familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, and hydraulic modeling tools. EIT within one year is preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
0–1 year experience in engineering or related fields (internship preferred).
Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, and hydraulic modeling software preferred.
EIT certification (or ability to obtain within one year) preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist in planning and design of water and wastewater infrastructure, including pipelines, distribution and collection systems, pump and lift stations, and treatment facilities.
Prepare engineering drawings, reports, specifications, and other project documentation.
Perform engineering calculations and assist with hydraulic analysis and modeling.
Assist with preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
Perform field investigations, data collection, site visits, and construction observations.
Support permitting and regulatory compliance efforts.
Coordinate with engineers, designers, and other disciplines throughout project development.
Assist with construction‑phase services, including review of submittals and responses to contractor questions.
