Job summary

The engineer will work closely with project managers, senior engineers, and designers through all project phases, leveraging MicroStation for plans and documents and coordinating with municipal clients and regulatory agencies.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering required
• EIT certification required; PE license in TX preferred or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe
• Experience developing engineering plans and construction documents; proficiency with municipal infrastructure projects

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering design for water, wastewater, sanitary sewer, force main, storm drainage, and related municipal infrastructure projects
• Prepare plans, profiles, calculations, technical specifications, cost estimates, and other construction documents
• Coordinate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams through all project phases
• Utilize MicroStation extensively for preparation of plans and construction documents
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and designers
• Support field investigations and construction-phase engineering tasks
• Review drawings for accuracy and compliance with standards
