Job summary

Kier + Wright is seeking a Senior Water/Utilities Civil Engineer in Sacramento to lead potable water, recycled water and wastewater projects. You will drive hydraulic modeling, pipeline and pump station design, and permitting through construction.

You will mentor junior staff, oversee CIP projects and manage client relationships, with a CA PE license preferred. The role emphasizes design standards and technical reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 12+ years of experience in water utilities and civil engineering.
• Extensive hydraulic modeling experience with WaterCAD or similar tools.
• PE license with CA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead proposals including potable water, recycled water, and wastewater sections.
• Oversee project management for water, recycled water, and wastewater CIP projects.
• Mentor junior staff on technical issues and professional development.
• Develop design standards and prepare technical reports.
