Job summary

Carollo Engineers in California seeks a Senior Pipeline Engineer to lead design and construction for water and wastewater infrastructure across Southern California. You will perform hydraulic calculations, size facilities, and develop plans, specs, and cost estimates.

A California PE license and 10–15 years of pipeline experience are required; Microstation, ArcMap, and InfoWater proficiency are preferred. The role offers competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication required.
• Ability to apply critical thinking to develop options and recommendations for pipeline projects.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Project planning, design and construction for the infrastructure market in San Diego and Southern California.
• Conceptual and preliminary design activities including site visits, overseeing field work, alternatives analysis, and report preparation.
• Design of water and wastewater infrastructure pipeline projects.
• Perform hydraulic calculations needed to size and select project facilities.
• Develop plans, specifications, and cost estimates for various infrastructure projects.
• Assist with coordinating work of other discipline engineers, designers, modelers, technicians, and others assisting with project work.
• Review contractor submittals for conformance with contract plans and specifications and evaluate requests for information as part of engineering services during construction.
