Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join the Technical Direction and Process Validation team in the United States. The role involves evaluating opportunities, developing PFDs/P&IDs, and supporting Sales and Commercial Engineering with process expertise.

You will lead design calculations, P-table documentation, and cross-functional reviews for water and wastewater projects. Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, at least 10 years of process design experience in water

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or Environmental preferred).
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in water & wastewater process engineering or equipment supply field, preferably with 3-5 years onsite experience.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in detailed process design and reading/providing proposals and specs.
• Ability to work independently for long periods and to communicate complex technical information clearly.
• Commitment to safety, strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, and ability to mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Sales and CE teams to support opportunities and regional/global projects.
• Provide technical/process support for bids and customer meetings from a process perspective.
• Create and assess process design estimates, BFD/PFDs for greenfield, retrofit, and asset upgrades.
• Prepare Process documentation including feedwater design basis, mass balances, simulations, and design projections.
• Participate in P-table reviews and peer reviews to ensure contract goals and specs are met.
• Mentor team members and provide remote or on-site process training as needed.
