Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to collaborate with the Technical Direction and Process Validation team on evaluations of new constructions, fleet-based solutions, and asset optimization. You will produce detailed process design calculations and review PFDs and P&IDs, while guiding Sales and Commercial Engineering teams and performing field audits of plants to troubleshoot operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Chemical, or Environmental preferred).
• At least 10 years in water & wastewater process engineering or equipment supply, with 3–5 years on process equipment.
• Strong ability to read and interpret proposal documents and specifications from technical and commercial perspectives.
• Ability to work independently for long periods and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Sales and CE teams to support opportunities and screen new regional/global projects.
• Provide process design estimates, calculations, and diagrams (BFDs, PFDs) for new and retrofit projects.
• Prepare process documentation (feedwater design basis, mass balance, simulations, injection rates) for P-Table reviews.
• Offer remote and on-site process training and support safety-focused engineering inputs.
• Collaborate with SMEs to analyze flowsheets and provide economical, technical solutions.
