Job summary

Veolia in the United States is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join the Technical Direction and Process Validation (TDPV) team. You will collaborate with Process Engineers and SMEs to evaluate projects spanning new construction, fleet-based solutions, and optimizing existing assets.

You will prepare process design calculations, develop PFDs and P&IDs, support Sales and CE teams, and perform site audits to troubleshoot operations while contributing to safety reviews and techno-economic

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical or Environmental preferred).
10+ years of experience in water & wastewater process engineering or equipment supply with hands-on knowledge on process equipment or plant operations.
Ability to read and understand proposals and specifications from technical and commercial perspectives.
Self-motivated, able to work independently for long periods and as part of a team, with a strong safety mindset.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with Sales and CE teams to support opportunities and participate in WIN reviews for regional/global projects.
Provide process design estimates, calculations, and drawings (PFDs/BFDs) for new and retrofit projects within MWIS.
Prepare process documentation (feedwater design basis, mass balance, calculations, injections, and sparing strategies).
Participate in P-table reviews to ensure solutions meet goals and product specifications throughout the contract period.
Mentor TDPV team members and provide remote/on-site process training to field operations teams.
