Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join the Water Technology MWIS team in the US. You will collaborate with process engineers and SMEs to evaluate projects, develop process designs, and review PFDs/P&IDs for new builds, retrofits, and asset upgrades.

You’ll support sales with technical input and mentor junior staff. The role requires extensive field and design work, strong safety focus, and ability to lead multi-disciplinary reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or Environmental preferred).
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in water & wastewater process engineering or equipment supply.
• Ability to read and understand proposal documents and specifications from technical and commercial perspectives.
• Self-motivated, quick to deliver and a team player; strong focus on safety.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Sales and CE teams to screen opportunities and support bids.
• Provide process and technical guidance to customer meetings during bid discussions and projects.
• Create and review process design estimates, BFDs and PFDs for new or upgraded assets.
• Prepare P-table documentation with feedwater design basis, mass balance and projections.
• Participate in P-table reviews to ensure solutions meet goals and specifications.
• Coach and mentor team members and provide remote/on-site process training as needed.
• Support lifecycle cost analysis and compare alternative flowsheets for optimal solutions.
