Job summary
Stantec is seeking a Drinking Water Treatment Engineer to support municipal drinking water projects in Minnesota and the upper Midwest. You will lead design efforts, engage with clients, and contribute to business development while delivering high-quality water treatment solutions.
The role requires extensive experience in planning, design, and construction of drinking water facilities, mentoring junior staff, and coordinating multi-disciplined teams across local and regional scopes.
Qualifications
- Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, engineering, or related technical discipline.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years’ relevant professional experience, with at least 3 years of experience managing and coordinating water treatment infrastructure piloting, planning, design, and construction projects.
- Licenses/Certifications: Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Minnesota or ability to achieve within one year of hire.
- Strong client relationship development experience.
- Experience leading drinking water treatment projects and teams.
Responsibilities
- Engage in active project delivery in client-facing municipal water markets in the Midwest.
- Lead planning and design for drinking water facilities.
- Lead construction administration activities on active projects.
