Job summary

Stantec seeks a Wastewater Treatment Engineer to support municipal and industrial wastewater projects in Minnesota and the upper Midwest. You will engage in project delivery, lead planning and design phases, and oversee construction administration with site visits and contractor interactions.

Responsibilities include mentoring staff, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, and expanding work across regional geographies. Licensure in MN or ability to obtain within a year is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 12 years of relevant professional experience, with at least 5 years coordinating wastewater projects.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Minnesota or able to obtain within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Engage in active project delivery in a client-facing role in municipal and industrial wastewater markets in the Midwest.
• Support and lead planning and design phase efforts for municipal and/or industrial wastewater treatment facilities.
• Lead construction administration efforts on active projects including site visits and contractor interactions.
• Mentor and lead junior staff and manage multi-disciplined teams.
• Engage across local, regional and national geographies and support innovation in drinking water projects.
