Job summary

Stantec seeks a Senior Process Engineer for landmark water projects across the Western United States. The role emphasizes design, calculations, and technical reporting for water treatment facilities.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's in Civil/Environmental Engineering, 10+ years in water/wastewater, and a PE license. The position supports flexible/remote work options with strong client interaction and project leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil/Environmental Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required.
• 10+ years of experience in the water/wastewater industry.
• Experience designing water treatment facilities and related systems.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage design work, calculations, and technical reports for water treatment facility projects.
• Coordinate design and report packages for client approvals.
• Attend meetings with clients, team members, and sub-consultants.
• Prepare project documents, presentations, and communications for deliverables.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to align with design intent.
• Develop construction specifications, plans, and schedules.
• Support QA/QC on projects; review shop drawings and submittals.
• Engage with clients and regulatory agencies to determine project requirements.
• Support marketing and business development activities.
