Job summary

Ardurra is seeking a Water Treatment Lead to join our California-focused team, ideally in Irvine, CA, with flexibility for other CA offices. The role collaborates with Operations Managers, Principals, and local professionals to develop and execute an innovative regional strategy for drinking water projects.

You will lead a team of engineers and designers, manage large projects, and engage clients while navigating California regulations and permitting processes.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience leading water treatment and infrastructure design.
• PE license (California preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental/Chemical Engineering; Master's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical lead and/or project manager on water treatment projects.
• Mentor engineers, designers, and staff to deliver on-time, within-budget solutions.
• Develop process designs for advanced and conventional drinking water systems; oversee pilot tests and optimization.
• Prepare engineering reports, memos, cost estimates, specs, and drawings.
• Coordinate with clients, regulators, and internal teams through all project phases.
• Support business development: client engagement, proposals, and presentations.
• Stay current on regulations and industry trends in drinking water treatment.
