Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Principal Water Treatment Design Engineer/Manager to join our Resilience Water Business in Southern California. This hands-on role leads municipal water and wastewater projects, manages staff, and drives business development while delivering projects on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years of experience, a CA-licensed PE, and a strong track record in design, construction, and client relations.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant experience in water/wastewater projects.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in California (PE).
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead municipal water and wastewater design projects from planning through construction.
• Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, and delivery to meet deadlines.
• Mentor and develop staff; supervise engineers and designers.
• Support business development and client relationships; represent Arcadis in industry activities.
• Prepare engineering deliverables and ensure compliance with Arcadis standards.
