Job summary

HDR is seeking a senior integrated water resources planner or engineer to join our Water Resources team in Kansas City, Missouri. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership experience and technical expertise in integrated planning for water supply, flood risk management, and environmental restoration. Key qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science and at least 10 years of experience in environmental planning. Responsibilities will involve directing projects for federal agencies and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of technical and/or field experience in complex environmental planning projects.
• Experience dealing with environmental impact issues and associated permit processes.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct medium-to-large planning and environmental compliance projects for federal agencies.
• Prepare, plan, and analyze compliance documents.
• Direct the work of others to complete required studies, documents, and reports.
• Demonstrate extensive public participation and agency coordination experience.
• Perform other duties as needed to support project delivery.
