Job summary

HDR is seeking a senior integrated water resources planner or engineer to join our Water Resources team in Houston, Texas. This position requires leadership experience and technical expertise in integrated planning for various projects including water supply, flood risk management, and environmental restoration.

The selected candidate will plan and direct environmental compliance projects, prepare compliance documents, and demonstrate extensive public participation and agency coordination experience. Competitive compensation of $100,000 to $195,000 is offered, along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of technical and/or field experience in complex environmental planning projects.
• Technical and/or field experience dealing with environmental impact issues and documentation preparation/review.
• Self-starter attitude and commitment to employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct medium‑to‑large planning and environmental compliance projects for federal agencies.
• Prepare, plan, and analyze compliance documents.
• Direct the work of others to complete required studies, documents, and reports.
• Demonstrate extensive public participation and agency coordination experience.
• Perform other duties as needed to support project delivery.
