The Water Resources Project Manager at Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson is responsible for delivering projects from planning through design and construction support. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with clients, oversee technical work, and mentor junior staff to ensure high-quality outcomes for transportation, municipal, drainage, and floodplain projects.

This role emphasizes business development, proposals, and client relationship building in Texas and Colorado, with opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field from ABET accredited program.
• Texas P.E. license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 7+ years drainage engineering experience; 2+ years in oversight/training.
• Experience with TxDOT drainage design and standards.

Responsabilités

• Manage completion of Schematic Impact reports and PS&E projects for complex H&H designs.
• Lead project teams, manage scope, schedule, and budget.
• Develop project plans, PM plans, and quality management plans.
• Create and maintain project schedules and manage subconsultants.
• Monitor progress, mitigate risks, and prepare progress reports and invoices.
• Build client relationships and lead marketing activities, proposals, and interviews.
• Coach and mentor team members through check-ins and debriefs.
