Job summary

McMillen, Inc. is seeking a Senior Civil Project Manager with a strong technical background and a PE license to lead water resources projects. This Seller-Doer role requires 15+ years in civil or hydraulic engineering and 7+ years in project management while coordinating multidisciplinary teams.

The candidate will work on dams, hydropower, flood control, water treatment and related infrastructure, with up to 25% travel. Relocation support is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field is required.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in civil/hydraulic engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of Project Management experience preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required; NCEES registration preferred.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering codes, standards, and practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver water resources projects.
• Define deliverables, set up teams, manage scope changes and communication.
• Oversee planning, design, and construction support across fisheries, hydropower, dams, and water treatment.
• Collect and analyze field data and reports to assess conditions and criteria.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
• Pursue project opportunities and prepare competitive proposals.
