Job summary

Stantec is seeking an experienced Project/Program Manager to lead our Water Resources portfolio in the Pacific Region and the West, guiding multi-disciplinary teams and delivering complex planning and management engagements.

You will mentor staff, manage budgets and stakeholders, integrate policy, environment, and engineering insights, and expand client relationships while advancing innovation and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead large, multi-disciplinary water resources projects and programs.
• Strong communication skills for briefings to executives, clients, and stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring staff and building productive project teams.
• Ability to translate policy, environmental, and technical insights into actionable programs.

Responsibilities

• Manage water resources projects with scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets.
• Lead and inspire staff; delegate work to expand delivery capacity.
• Mentor professionals and coordinate with leadership on resourcing and budgets.
• Provide project leadership for water resources planning and management engagements in the Western US.
• Advise clients on funding strategies, regulatory considerations, and program implementation.
• Develop client relationships and contribute to business development and knowledge sharing.
