Job summary
Wallace Group is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Water Resources Engineer in San Luis Obispo to lead planning, design, and project management for water resources projects. The role involves client coordination, mentoring junior staff, and guiding multi-disciplinary teams from planning through construction.
The ideal candidate has at least ten years in water resources, strong proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, and experience with water/wastewater modeling.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- California licensure preferred for professional registration.
- Minimum of ten years of qualifying experience in water resources.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD / Civil 3D.
- Proficiency in water and sewer modeling programs such as WaterCAD, InfoSWMM, and Aquanuity.
Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle project management for complex civil engineering projects from planning through construction.
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies and support permitting.
- Cultivate client relationships and lead business development efforts.
- Mentor junior staff and oversee multi-disciplinary water resources teams.
